Dr. Chelsea Wiggins
Dr. Chelsea hails from Washington State, where she completed her bachelor’s degree at Washington State University. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2013 and has been practicing in the Omaha area since. Dr. Chelsea believes in the importance of a lifetime of good oral health and strives to impart that belief to each of her patients, especially the little ones.
As a mother of young children, Dr. Chelsea understands the importance of developing healthy oral care routines in her youngest patients and uses their unique differences to modify and adjust her treatment so each child has a successful appointment and leaves with a smile.
When she is not creating happy and healthy smiles, Dr. Chelsea enjoys reading, cheering for the Seattle Seahawks and spending time with her husband, daughters, and soon to arrive son.
Dr. Chad Carter
Dr. Carter completed his Bachelors of Science at Abilene Christian University (Texas) after which he and his family spent 7 years in volunteer work in Burkina Faso (in west Africa). He then completed dental school at the University of Oklahoma partnering in research with the University of Istanbul, Turkey and receiving many honors. Dr. Carter has also served in the U.S. Air Force including assignments in Oklahoma, Ohio, New Mexico, and Texas. He is a graduate of the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program (TORP), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He and his wife have two talented teenage boys who are young men of high character. They all love watching movies, traveling around the world and spending time outdoors with their hunting dogs, Boone and Huck.
Dr. Elizabeth Desamero
Dr. Desamero was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Nebraska to be with her husband. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, her Master’s Degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University – Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She graduated in the top of her class with honors, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During her time in dental school she also earned a Certificate in Public Health with Dental Emphasis.
Dr. Desamero believes in the importance of a lifetime of good oral health and maintaining a healthy smile. She is passionate about providing her patients with comprehensive dental care and strives to help each patient achieve and maintain their dental goals.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Desamero enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, music, and movies. She also loves to experiment in the kitchen and travel.
Dr. Desamero is member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and the Omaha District Dental Association.
